The U.S. Coast Guard has suspended its comment period on an update to its Coastal Buoy Modernization Proposal (CBMP) following strong public participation. Nearly 3,200 mariners and community members shared feedback, helping shape how the Coast Guard manages the Northeast’s 5,600 federal buoys and beacons.
