Executive Director Mike O’Connor, along with Community Liaisons Anthony Afriyie and Melissa Root, represented the Connecticut Port Authority at the Connecticut Council of Small Towns (COST) conference held in Plantsville on October 22, 2025.

During the event, they engaged with a wide range of municipal and state officials, as well as influential business leaders who are committed to supporting Connecticut’s small towns. Maritime-related business leaders were encouraged to visit our searchable Directory to confirm their listing and ensure their visibility within the community.

We look forward to continuing these important conversations at the upcoming Connecticut Conference of Municipalities (CCM) Annual Convention this December.
