The Connecticut Port Authority invites businesses, municipalities, industry stakeholders, community organizations, and members of the public to participate in the 2026 Freight Rail & Port Working Group.
The Working Group is examining ways Connecticut can make greater use of its freight rail network, sea lanes, and ports to move goods more efficiently, strengthen infrastructure, support economic growth, and reduce transportation impacts.
Participants can:
- Submit written comments, recommendations, and supporting information.
- Register to speak or present at an upcoming public meeting.
- Share perspectives on freight, rail, port infrastructure, economic development, and community impacts.
